We provide consultancy services on municipal solid waste management. These include landfill design, engineering and capacity building on solid waste management. We also provides consultancy services to several engineering firms in Malaysia on new sanitary landfill designs.

We provide consultancy services on planning, design, construction and operation of modern waste transfer facilities handling various types of wastes, waste transfer system technology and capacity as well as for modern Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and recycling facility suited to handling local municipal solid waste.

STREC has a vast consultancy experience on planning, design, construction and operation of advance Leachate Treatment Plant and Landfill Gas Management Facilities. These plant operate with the ultimate aim of being in compliance with the stringent requirements set by the government.

We provide environmental monitoring services for landfills and monitor the physical characteristics and chemical composition of leachate and groundwater as well as landfill gases with a view of assessing the impact towards its surrounding.

We provide advisory services on water catchment and protection zone, planning to design strategies to limit ground or surface water impacts arising from landfilling mining, industrial and agricultural activities.

We provide consultancy services to Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project developers. These include identification of potential CDM projects, assessment of CERs generation and feasibility studies, preparation of PDD as well as obtaining approval from the DNA.

We provide due diligence assessment of any property and facility and conducts All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) into the environmental condition of a property. The assessment will facilitate the potential owner of a property or facility to be fully aware of their potential environmental liabilities.
